Clint, I'm interested in your EZ Tune Gas Tubes for 300 Blackout. Do have any gas port guide lines for 300 Blackout for the most common barrel lengths, especially the 8" to 9" version?

It has been my experience that BRT's customer service is extremely responsive to emails.

    Senor Clint,
Will you be making LMT Mid tubes for shorter barrels/5.56 now that Specwar/12.5 uppers will be a thing?

Yes, the 12.5" MID application has been added to the drop down menu.

Any plans for a nitrided tube? I've seen some testing showing the benefits in terms of wear on the nipple due to the RC 60+ surface hardness of nitride. I suspect it may also reduce erosion of the port and extend the port life span as well (although 5k rounds on a SBR suppressed is still pretty good).

Wouldn't a nitrided gas tube create more wear in the gas key as a result of being harder though? I would think it would be easier and less expensive to replace a gas tube than a gas key.

Isn't the chrome lining in the gas key at least as hard?

BTW, they last much longer than 5,000 rounds in my experience.

I think it's about the same at around 67 Rockwell C. Which means that the chrome would wear at the same rate as the gas tube, exposing the softer substrate, vs a normal gas tube presumably at around 30 HRC, or softer.
