    Homemade T-1 Cover

I apologize, but I could not locate the existing thread about a scope cover for the Aimpoint T-1 Micro. I was looking to get a "Scopecoat" just for something to protect the lenses while it's in the case. I needed to be able to easily pull the cover off as soon as I pull the SBR out of the case.

So I decide to make this:

It's the toe from an old sock with a hole cut into it so that I can hook it onto the LT scope mount lever. And yes, the sock is clean (notice how worn down the toe is).

I was looking for one, but this is not what I had in mind.

    Does it stink?

Damn right I'm cheap. I'm still using the newer socks - I'll consider cutting them up for something like this once they become unwearable (like this one). And no, it doesn't stink (I think - but I'm not about to check).

    Yup that's definitely a cover!
