I was going to make a comment about a nut sock, but I think I will let this one die...

I have seen SgtMaj's set up and it is an excellent cost effective solution to making a home made Anti-Reflective Device (ARD) aka Kill Flash with a flip cover. The flip cover is a Butler Creek flip cover with a nylon mesh screen (type you use on a screen door).

Does anyone know the size of the Butler Creek front flip-up cover? I'll order one to try, too!

Ok Carlos, I am going to help you do a bit better:

    1) Old Mousepad or a fragment from an old wetsuit.

    2) Sharp Scissors and an X-Acto knife.

    3) Wetsuit Cement (Not Aquaseal).

    You take it from there.

    Question

    SGTMajor
Where did you get the Kill Flash for the T-1? Any one know of flipups that work on the rear?
    Thanks

Is there enough room on the front of the sight to fit a cover at all?

apparently GG&G makes a QD mount with integral covers. Anybody use it?

I don't care much for the GG&G mounts, mostly because I am so comfortable with LaRue. The GG&G T-1 mount seems to defeat the purpose of the T-1 - it is too large and bulky.
