Not a 14.5 inch, but I use a 11.5" ELW-F BCM barreled upper with a Saker-K almost exclusively.
Works great and even doing rapid drills / shooting, never had an issue.

Yeh maybe BCM will make a BFH medium tapered profile soon. Seems like it’d be the best of both worlds.

So with all the info on the table. If you could have one which would it be? Difference between the ELW and GOV is about 4oz. Is it really that noticeable for its downfalls?
11.5 carbine for me.
