Longer gas tube for noveske switch block?

    Hi,

I have a 14.5" Noveske SB-barrel with (mid length gas system) but I going to switch to a longer handguard on that rifle and want to move the switch block to my 18" (rifle gas) DMR/SPR.

Where can i get a longer gastube?

Call Noveske. Their gas tubes are proprietary for the SB.

What makes you think the suppressed port size will be correct for an 18" barrel?

Because it's over-gassed on a 14.5 middy. Mine would nearly cycle M193 in the suppressed setting with no can.

I had this issue with Noveske as well, no joy to report however. Maybe things have improved there, one can only hope.

I suspect that the supressed portsize is smaller on the 14.5" version.

The plan is to drill it the right size.

I'd consult with Noveske before going this route.
