    Mount height is a personal preference. If my AR has a front sight post, I prefer the 1/3 lower. If it has no front sight or a folding front sight, I prefer absolute. I've had an Aimpoint T2 on the Scalar Works for a couple years now and it's the mount I like best.

    The scalarworks mounts seem well made and thought out. The LEAP was delivered to my house by I’m out of town and won’t be able to mount it up to the comp m5 that I just got as well for another month. I’ll be on the lookout for one of their magnified mounts during Black Friday, if they’re available. Need a mount to go with the NX8 I have coming at the end of the month
