Complexity of the food chain in CONUS

A new article at the Survivalblog links to a study analyzing the food chain from field to table in every county in CONUS. Its pretty complicated, and not easy reading, but if you persevere it provides interesting information on choke points and major distribution centers nationwide. See the original article here (https://iopscience.iop.org/article/1...48-9326/ab29ae), and a commentary at Fast Company here (https://www.fastcompany.com/90422553...-mind-boggling),

If you're concerned about food security (see the Woodpile Report at http://www.woodpilereport.com/html/index-600.htm) than this should concern you because its a very useful targeting document for enemies intent on using food as a weapon.

Just one more thing to keep in mind if you're preparing for hard times, and everything you need for CARVER.
