The Mandalorian has clicked with a few things many viewers have wanted regarding some big franchises.

People would have liked to see some regular bounty hunters, storm troopers, etc. in the a star Wars universe.

People kind of wanted to see the regular fighters and survivors in the Terminator future.

People were interested in where the aliens came from and some regular space marine guy missions.

People wanted to see a Predator world hunt training movie and some predators out getting in the hunt that bit off more than they could chew.

We never really got any of that.

I'm hyped for S2, but this trailer was a bit of a disappointment.

Mostly because I just wanted to see montrals covered by a hood or at least a silver lightsaber blade.

Anyway. Looks like the trailer opens with Yavin IV. And the X-Wings... maybe Din Djarin guides a New Republic task force to hunt down Moff Gideon?

I think they are just keeping everything close while reminding you of why you love it. I’m sick of trailers that ruin the plots

I was a fan of the first season of: "Baby Yoda's Space Cowboy Adventures".

Season Two, Baby Yoda Boogaloo should be impressive as well - it's the right layout for a show where they can use the episodic nature of it to their benefit, riff off existing stuff they already know people like, and just keep it aligned to the genre, and it'll be awesome.

I think this hammered home that Star Wars isn't necessarily about trying to make groundbreaking art - it'a awesome because somehow mixing Jim Henson animatronics and space wizards on top of existing and well understood story archetypes just works, and trying to do anything else is basically throwing away an opportunity to make more money.

At this point, the only other real disappointment is that we don't get a Spaceballs 3 out of this.

I think of it more as a teaser rather than a trailer.
