I have no experience with the Romeo 7, but the Romeo 5 I have has been working good. Optics are not as good as the Aimpoint, but noticeably better than the PA Advanced Micro. Battery life is good, mine has gone over a year without replacement. The Romeo 5 comes with its own AR mount.

I am using my star card which mean the exchange. No aimpoints. They DO have romeo 5 and 5x and a holoson. I saw the 7 and was curious about it.

    Thank you

I would scratch the ROMEO 7. All you are doing is adding bulk and weight and it is not going to do any more than the ROMEO 5, 5X, or the HOLOSUN. Here is what one of my ARs looks like with a HOLOSUN.

Here is my SIG SAUER 516 with the SIG SAUER ROMEO 5.

Just for the heck of it, here is another AR I have with the VORTEX SPARC AR. They are usually priced right around $200 and less when on sale.

Etched prism sights are a great alternative for those with red dot issues (astigmatism) or just difficulty seeing targets with red dots. The Vortex Spitfire series offer 1x or magnified, can illuminate the etched reticle or not.

If you’re considering an LPVO but think you’ll always be on 1x anyway think about trying prism for much better eye relief.

Just to Update. I went with the Romeo5 and primary arms had a sale on the blue force vickers so sent with that. Already have a cheap light that will suffice for now. Will post pic when all is here.
