    I can still reach the paddle and actuate the release with my thumb without breaking my grip, however, I do have to stretch my thumb all the way out to do that. And no I am not going to re-train my muscle memory to use my index finger after all these years.

    Only the shot timer will truly tell which one (if there even is a difference) is faster for me. I will report back once I get that data. I will say that the button feels quicker than the paddle, and is still my preferred style.
