That's great, guys! Thanks for sharing. My rifle did very well over the weekend. The target below was my first three shots of the course. The cold bore shot was dead center. I was pretty happy with this. Avg muzzle velocities on that morning were 2553.

Holy cow...any damage from the 6.5 in the 308? Suppressor survive?

Mark had .25 inch 4 shot group that opened up to a half on number cinco. CLASSIC #5. His first and second shot were right beside each other and 2,3,4 were in the exact same hole. You could barely see it open up. Then lucky number Cinco kicked his ass.

And if anybody wants to know, you don't want to feed your 308 with 6.5CM cartridges, with a can on. Does not end well. yep

But with 308, The Delta 5 shoots lights out. We haven't even done load development yet.

Survive would be putting it loosely. Only because Sig will repair it at no charge so far. Sig asked, did you trash the first baffle with serial number? Dont know what happens if you do this, but I expect not good. Luckily, I trashed a baffle and end strike.

If you have never done it, that feeling when you hear something very wrong and a massive keyhole on paper, not a good gut feel.

Anyway, God Bless Sig for repairing. I just got this can a month ago to boot.

Sig put the serial number in a place so when and if you get a baffle , endocap strike , they could repair. Very awesome of Sig.

Sig should take good care of you, as you say, they designed the can with this sort of thing in mind. I hate to hear that it happened, but I suppose it just shows that even those of us who shoot all of the time can make mistakes if we aren't on our toes all the time. I'm glad no-one was hurt.

It's also great to hear that your Delta 5 is shooting so well. It seems they put together a solid rifle!

I didn't think a 6.5 round would chamber because the brass doesn't fit well in my case holder for trimming. Lot of jacket frags in the can. End cap hole taco'd....

It's a Manta Defense Suppressor Sleeve. I've been super happy with it. Fits Snug and doesn't come off. You actually have to apply hand sanitizer to the inside to get it on. A little bit of oil helps with getting it removed. Works great for this application but not ideal for a high rate of fire rifle.
