Question Aimpoint Lens Filters - Astigmatism

    Hey Guys,

Just a quick question. For those individuals with Astigmatism....

I've heard that polarized glasses help this and apparently they seem to improve it for me.
None the less, it is something that will need to be checked out at the next vision appointment reference new eyewear.

My question is.... Aimpoint has a couple filters that mount in the rear of the Comp M4 series.

Any idea if the polarized lens filter that Aimpoint has for the red dot scope helps any with this issue?

have any of you used this polarized filter and does it darken the picture much for low light shooting?

Would really appreciate any feedback on this.
    Thanks,
    Mike

I have an astigmatism in my right, dominant eye. I switched from a 4 moa aimpoint to a 2 moa Trijicon MRO. I use an absolute cowitness. I look through the rear aperture if I have to take a longer shot. This cleans up the dot quite a bit and removes the astigmatism
