I got a chance to shoot the X5 Legion. Nice gun but I preferred Walther’s method of making it weigh as much as steel simply by using steel better. Call me old fashioned. I could see a weighted Glock doing well in the competition field though.

A 'chassis' platform, like the Sig P320/P365 would make sense; lotsa ways to sell add on gripshells.
Wouldn't rule out a P365 competitor, tho' Glock would have to abandon their part-poly mag thing to get 10 rounds in.
A carbine would be great, but we go thru' this everytime.

Smart money says the Glock 44 is a .22 pistol.

I'll buy one, if it is.

If they release it with a threaded barrel, I'll buy two.

I am hoping for a threaded option, and MOS.

If that is the case, my Grinch heart will grow three sizes on December 10th.

That’d be cool, but I’m not sure it’ll do anything for me that my AA kit doesn’t already. I’d probably get into an MOS version though.

The fact that they delivered a few rotating barrel guns convinced me that they at least have one or two engineers still working at the company. I really would like something interesting. A carbine would be lots of fun, and despite what a lot of folks think, would probably make money. I have been all over the world and 9mm submachine guns are still very common. I went to Egypt and Greece last year and they were everywhere. In Egypt they had a LOT of CZ Evos (and of course old MKE MP5s). I think Glock could make some money overseas and, of course, here on the civvy market with a PCC. And OMG if they delivered something like this I would definitely be first in line....https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/...20111118020924

But likely it will just be some dull recombination of what we have seen before. Although I would be interested in a factory steel frame.
