    "Just move."

That's what people in CA were told for YEARS. Not that simple, huh?!

Sadly, people took that advice--the problem is it was the people we DIDN'T want moving, with an avowed intention of colonizing. There are times when I've seriously considered proposing an initiative to dissolve the State of Washington and all its offices, and merge with California just to force a clear statement about "If we wanted to be Californicated, we would just BE Calif-ckhole, ya turdsucking retards!"

Go look at Va code 18.2-433.3. The cutouts in this law alleviate most of the nonsense being spouted off here.
AQ planned for years and sent their A team to carry out the attacks, and on Flight 93 they were thwarted by a pick-up team made up of United Frequent Fliers. Many people look at 9/11 and wonder how we can stop an enemy like that. I look at FL93 and wonder, "How can we lose?". -- FromMyColdDeadHand

Not necessarily. Practical shooting events typically aren't considered target shooting and that goes way back.

That may be, but it is irrelevant to Va. Code 18.2-433.2. The relevant inquiry is the teacher/demonstrator "knowing or having reason to know or intending that such training" . . ..

What's coming down the road for VA will make CA look like a Constitutional paradise. And if the ComDems ever take back Congress and the WH this is what they will push on the rest of the country. After 3 years of Wile E. Pelosi and her merry gang running off cliffs they have blood in their eyes.

...and you think with this impeachment nonsense that's going on, that this code can't be "interpreted" any way they feel fit?

You know, I bet people in California said that in 1989. People in New Jersey said it in 1990. Connecticut in 1993, Massachusetts in 1994 so on and so forth.

Quiet noncompliance won't change anything, it only gives the Left a way to take away your rights (including the right to vote) if you are caught.

Every time one of these laws get passed everyone says they will not comply, some don't, most do, no one does what needs to be done to reverse the trend.

THE preeminent HK smith, TSC Machine, has told me directly he will be shutting down if this passes.

He has worked on multiple belt feds as well as SBR's and other F/A items for me. Really stinks if happens. He works on almost any F/A and it will be a huge, huge blow to this market.

The state would have to explain why it suddenly decided that after 32 years of allowing CCW classes, BJJ Dojos, Tai Chi gatherings in the park, women's self defense classes, dad's teaching their son's to shoot, and weekend action shooting matches, all of those things are now illegal because anyone engaging in them obviously plans on trying to cause or further a civil disorder.

And yes, in the past week I've read articles saying all of those things will all suddenly be illegal because people just realized there was a law passed in 1987 that prohibits training people with the intent to cause civil disorder. I think there are 24 other states with "anti-para-military" statues, and as far as I know none of them have ever used them to prosecute someone for taking a firearms or martial arts course, or for competing in such activities.

The bigger problem is that the addition to the law would make it illegal to protest while carrying concealed, or to engage in anything the state decides to call intimidation. That is no small problem and is what people should rightfully be upset about.
