    I know it sounds funny to say, but those that have spent time behind a Python will know what I am saying.

    The action on the new Python sounds identical to the older ones. That is promising.

    Once they hit market at normal pricing, I will definitely pick one up to compare to the original.

    I just don’t understand why the new Python looks like an old Python and the new Cobras look like a short cut with the name Cobra?

    The Python is the first "new" Colt revolver I've given a second thought to. I have no idea why they decided to release a new Cobra that's entirely stainless. If they had made it with an aluminum frame, they'd have a serious competitor to J-frames.
