Sounds the same to me. Great job on the build.

Looks great! And I thought I was a badass for building my own barn door from scratch

The kit is easy to do if you can get the spacers cut. I used the drill press for everything. Pappabear forgot the 6.5 bergara, so I shot the can on my .308 again yesterday. One more week until we hear it on 6.5 creed.

Spun the new can on the 6.5 today. Couldn’t tell much difference between that and the 308. One thing I wasn’t terrible impressed with were the threads. It threads onto the rifle just fine. However until you snug the can up to the shoulders, it has wobble. And seems ( one day of shooting) to unscrew on its own easy. So I’ll have to keep an eye on that to prevent an endcap strike.
On my 762 Sig direct thread can, as soon as you start screwing it on there is no wobble. I will try it on my 300 to make sure it’s not the rifle vs the can.
It did work just fine all in all. Considering you could buy and own a legal can in 30-45 days is pretty cool.

I am not an audio engineer but I was curious to see if there was any major sound difference between the two suppressors in the video. Captured the audio in Audacity and placed them side by side. Top (2 rows) is the first rifle, bottom (2 rows) is the second rifle. This is by no means a precision way to assess the sound but gives you somewhat of an idea.

That's pretty cool. I'm sure the video isn't the best way to capture sound either.

Here's the baffle stack after a few months... Little bit of copper on the front of the stack.

Not too many. It is a bolt gun can. Probably 100 rounds of 6.5 CM, 20 rounds of .308, and a few rounds of 300 WM. I'm adding another baffle and doing the scoop mod to the existing baffles. It's not quiet enough as is.
