    Skirted just means the cone and spacer are in integral unit.



    Advantages being you measure the OAL of the stack based off the skirt width so 1/2” skirt x5 gives you an OAL of 2.5” and so on.

    They handle over pressure way better as well compared to non skirted.

    Non skirted are just cheaper to machine and folks seemed to get carried away with stuffing as many baffles in a can as possible for no reason so they can sell more.

    If you really want to get fancy and can tig weld you can do without sleeving the stack (think Rex cans and the like) and then you can bump the OD and volume up some too.

    Just caliber and OAL length and serial number I think. Pappabear called me for OAL when they were doing the efile.
