You know what I'll do? Make a Video. We could spin it onto my 20" .308 bolt gun and shoot it against Pappabear's 20" bolt gun with another can. The can is set to live on a 6.5 bolt gun, but we can shoot it on .308 for a head to head.

We won't get much of a sense of that since there's no gas guns to spin it on.

And back pressure is not an issue on Bolts. We will have a little break considering its 30cal on a 6.5.

Clips are cuts in the baffles made with the purpose of disrupting and breaking up the laminar flow of the supersonic jet, thus improving suppression performance.

Not that I know a lot about suppressors but I've never heard of this.

I've seen that before, just didn't know what it was called. Appreciate it, thanks.

The Baffles in this kit aren't pointy. They would be more suited to a scalloped clip. I think there's a different term for that cut. But I definitely want to try the can un-modified first.

There are several cans I've looked through that don't have them, but I don't have an objection to trying it if the can is barky.

The common single scoop clip is often used with flat nose cone baffles.

Regardless of baffle style, some form of clip improves performance.

It is also common in commercial cans for the first blast baffle to not have a clip, but have perimeter venting.

That's exactly what these baffles are.

We shot this bad boy today and I was not disappointed. I shot it side by side with a Sig 762 QD can and it was very close in sound reduction IMHO. This was with 2 each 308 20 inch guns. Mark shot it with a 300WM and I thought it was just fine standing behind him, he felt it to be barky on the 300. Maybe I'm deaf, no I'm quite sure of it.

Mark made a video so we will see how that turns out via the inter web.

    Happy Mothers day ladies.

The can is pretty cool. Engraving is done by the way.

Not sure if the baffle stack compressed a few thowy, but I had to tighten up the end cap after a few rounds of .308. After that, we proofed it with a couple of our stout 300 WM rounds.

The can barks with the 300WM. We'll decide on adding a baffle or modifying baffles after hearing it on the 6.5 CM on which it will reside.
