    Yep not Aero, but ... Aero Precision BAR nut is a better solution to replace it with! :-)

    Which I'm not. I have a pair of vice grips that will fit and if it's messed up, so be it.

    I think they used red locktite so it's going to need some heat and some leverage.

    You might give it a wrap of sandpaper. Sometimes that can give enough grip combined with pliers to get the job done without damage.

    Thanks, I used a pair of Vicerips and got it to come off. I wasn't going to reuse it so it didn't matter if it got chewed up.
