    Capco M16A2 uppers

No affiliation with doa arms, never bought one of these(eyes play much better with optics now) or anything else from them, buyer beware, and all that.

Just sharing link due to interest here.

I picked one up, and while I don't think these are going to be anywhere as nice as some of the others that were NIB old stock, I'm sure it will be better than anything I carried.

Looks like a sweet deal on those FN M16A4 uppers, if they get any more... Ohio Ordnance Works is $50 more PLUS shipping.
You really have to ask why Conservatives have guns? Because Liberals block freeways, burn cities, throw Molotov cocktails, loot, turn over cop cars, and think this behavior is Socially Acceptable.

I was actually all set to buy one of those with my November bonus money, as I wanted an A4 style rifle, but my inner Retrohead won out when I came across the Colt kit I posted about, and I ended up buying that instead. Don't regret it on the least however I do still want an A4 rifle too though.

I've been tempted too, but on top of having a C8 and M4 to finish first I already have the RAS (a bring-back from a now-deceased friend; I have the parts he'd intended to clone his old M16A4 with before a divorce meant needing funds, and now I'm trying to complete his rifle in his memory) and just need the rest of the URG to go around it, seems kinda wasteful to take one M5 off only to swap another on except for the possible EE recovery of "minty-fresh takeoff from NOS FN Contract upper."

Here it is, it arrived in very good condition. I've been shooting it to 400 yards with crappy ammo and ringing steel. Its fun to get back in the saddle with what I carried quiet often.

I was wondering what the outcome was. Glad my precautionary caveats weren't needed!

Fantastic upper, and even though my eyes aren't what they used to be, I'm ringing steel out to 400 yards with cheap ammo. I call that a winner of an URG.
