Army Chief Passed 6 Years Ago Today.

Sam opened the Army Chief thread for a while, but no posts are showing up in the "new posts" section so guessing not too many will see the reminder.

Anybody who was here then will likely remember what a special person we had among us. A void that will never be filled, but many of us are better people because we knew him or even just watched him communicate.

Thank you for the reminder, Safetyhit. A date that will live in infamy (in history), and a day that we lost our Chuck. I miss his presence here. 6 years ago, my son was only 6. How time has flown. Like you, I'd like to think that I'm a better person for knowing him.

Time does indeed march on... Didn't actually know him outside this forum but had immense respect for him. Never forgotten. RIP

Hard to believe it has been that long. R.I.P. my friend.

Are you sure it's been six years? That can't be right. There's no way.
