Building Sig M17 from Fire Control Unit- which parts do I need?

My unit just got issued M17's and unlike M9's they're going to everyone Team Leader and up, so I decided I needed one for the collection. In order to get around WA's new gun law (long story), I bought a 320 FCU- now I just need the parts to build it up. Which frame (Grip Module) is correct, and can I add the manual safety to the FCU easily?

Hey kalt', I was asking some of those question over on the SIG forum. You will of course need the 'carry' length grip module, and the corresponding barrel/slide the same length as the dust shield. Start with the SIG 320 parts picker on their website.
The manual safety is another matter. The grip module is marked for the safety cutout, but that isn't the hard part.
It appears the FCG will not accept the safety as-is, and will require a trip to New Hampshire for modification.
BTW, if you haven't noticed on your service pistol, there is a S-M-L on the heel of the grip, indicating the size of the module.
Medium seems to be the standard.
