Between this and the Mandalorian and some of the Marvel movies,
It appears there are some Gen X writers, directors, and producers that understand and get what makes a show or movie good.
And, frankly, turn your nose up at him if you will, but 80s movies live on in spirit with Michael Bay.

Stranger Things gave me hope for Millenials.

    Cautiously optimistic! Love Paul Rudd.

Ant Man saved Endgame from being boring.

Honestly, I hated Captain Marvel but I like to think Her and Peter Parker hooked up after the battle. Like if you ever saw Police Academy with Callahan, you know what I mean.

Like I watched some comedies I wouldn’t watch just because of Paul Rudd. He’s amusing without being a dumbass. Mostly.

Paul Rudd also had a Super Nintendo so.... respect.

Ant Man coulda stopped the whole Infinity War with a little more creative thinking by Cap: "Yo, Antdude! Get tiny, then crawl up the big dude's snotlocker and make him go Splodeyhead!"

I was well and truly disappointed by Endgame. Watched it yesterday and found myself just skipping along through it....meh.

Yeah it was lame. Turbo lame. 3 hours I won’t get back.

That said the only highlights to me were (surprisingly)

-Captain Marvel. Her movie was dumb but her short hair was on point and Brie Larson could get it.

-Gwyneth Paltrow in Iron Man armor

    -Ant Man

But nothing else stood out. The time travel was dumb. The motivation was dumb. Chris Evans was annoying. Alchie Thor was sad. Tony Stark was just phoning it in. Thanos no longer seemed like a threat. Hawkeye went from okay to wtf. Long winded, boring, and it was endless.

Basically I’ll never watch another superhero movie again.

Lost all interest after seeing the trailer, was hoping for Venkman, Stantz, Zedemore, maaaaybe Louis Tully plus Paul Rudd to bust some ghosts, but instead I'm guessing we'll get cameos at best and another movie where kids inherit the story, know nothing about what's going on and somehow save the day so they can gauge the value of a reboot.

I will watch it but I am not that optimistic about a movie with a bunch of kids as the main characters being the heroes.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one

Younger actors means they can drag the story out longer with less chance of them dieing off.
