    I am at 171 was 170 yesterday.

    Overall I thin im doing better than when I started. Work has slowed down abit so I need to start getting on some exercise. Also keep grabbing unhealthy snacks. Not like before but if I cut those out I think I'd be trending down instead of hovering where I am.

    I've been finding that having a handful of almonds handy when I get into a snack mood helps--low carb high fiber. Those P3 meat-nut-cheeses snack packs work too, other than the scary-high sodium... Talking Rain Sparkling Ice instead of sodas helps a lot, though I think I'm gonna have to get some caffeine powder to start mixing into them and keep withdrawal effects at bay. (Trust me, if you guys think I'm an asshole normally... well, if me caffeinated is Dr. Jekyll you DON'T wanna meet "un-medicated" Mr. Hyde. )

    For May, gain of 1.6lb, but after the April drop of four times that I think I can spare a step backward after four forward. Just need to hold the line for a little over a week longer to claim Goal...

    194.2--gain of a quarter for the week. Probably shoulda waited on the Mexican rather than doing dine-in first day back open... my choice, choices have consequences, and I own it.

    173 This morning... Blaming the wife for bringing home Olive Garden last night.

    Did split it into 3 different meals though. Normally I'd have the whole thing at once.

    Maybe tomorrow will be better but guessing it will take a few days to even out.

    I DID IT!

    6/12/2020, 194.0lbs--dropped 40 pounds (plus a little) before my 40th birthday and kept it off all the way home. Man, that Tour of Italy at lunch tasted so good... (Note: Split the ToI in half, ate 3 plates of salad before the "eat in" half.")

    Nice job man!

    Tour of Italy! Thats what I had last night and today. Was real good, I didn't get the salad though, got the zuppa toscana or how ever you say it. The soup with kale, potato and sausage in it.

    Thanks. I really *wanted* Chicken & Gnocci, but knew I didn't need the extra carbs and thought the extra fiber might help offset the carbs already in the entree a bit. Thinking the road forward here is four weeks of mixed Keto and Atkins, then one week of "whatever." Just enough of those carby favorites to keep a CRAVING from building, enough space and healthier stuff in between itch-scratchings to hopefully keep things from building up until it's time to put on winter weight again.
