Update, yesterday morning I busted the 185 barrier, but I think this is gonna end up being a "step back" week with the Breadheads demanding back to back carbfests, and the first of them having to be McGarbage.

I know your scale was on the fritz but that sounds a little light...

Maybe your big toe was covering up the 1? Lol

I just weighed myself I'm at 174. Not too happy about it. Been stress eating and just finished up a vacation so ate a lot of meaks that were bigger than they should have been.

Did go on a nice hike with the family. Went up mt major in nh. Think it's only about 3 miles. The kids did great, only had to carry the youngest for a little bit on the way down. Never ruck'd before if thats what it's called... But it's gotta be similar ti carrying a wiggle 3yo trying to show everyone we pass his craped up elbow.

Ah yes, good catch. I think that would have been a bit too light. 176.8# it is.

It’s “weak” but there has been a bit of stress eating over the past couple months.

I look forward to going on hikes with my kids, that’s what we did growing up. Around this godforsaken, flat, riverless, cornfield-bordered Midwest suburban wasteland I currently call home, there isn’t a lot of good hiking spots, so we’ll have to do some driving... I grew up in Midcoast Maine, so not too far from you guys.

Other than Nazi Bitchmer and Reichskanzler Beshear's reigns of terror, you might check out Michigan and Kentucky depending which is closer, or maybe Southern Ohio down toward the KY and WV borders. Heck, post a thread asking for Hike Spot suggestions and I'm sure the hive-mind of M4C will hook you up quick...

I love KY and TN. And, I know where to go in WI and western IL. I’m right at the southern tip of Lake Michigan, so nothing interesting close by.

When I came home from my last deployment two years ago I was in fantastic shape, weighed probably 185, all muscle. Not sure what I’m weight right now, probably a bit over 190, definitely got a some fat around my middle but I’m actually stronger now than before. When I got home my boy was born and I went back to school and I stopped working out for a year and a half. Just before coming home I trap bar deadlifted 315 and benched 225 with a slight assist from the spotter. Just this week I benched 235 clean and deadlifted 330.

I need to do more cardio and get my core strong again. I also want to squat 225 by the end of the year, at around 205 now. I also want to get up to three reps at 330 for the deadlift, start doing regular deadlifts too, and raise my bench up to 255.

I assume you've done Indiana Dunes before... https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attracti...y_Indiana.html There's also a section of former Erie-Lackawanna RR mainline that's been rail-trailed you might find interesting on that Indiana DNR map above.

    Progress is progress!
I actually expected to be high, recently increased intake (better quality) to allow for hypertrophy. Looks like things balanced out.

187.2, not where I wanted but not as bad as I feared either.

I had a "Body Composition Analysis" done today, I've been doing this since since I began my weight loss.
    5'10" 59 years
Weight 213 Up with a .1 lbs gain.
    21% Body fat. Down 1.3%.
97.2 lbs Muscle mass Up 2.8 lbs.

I'm a bit sketchy about the weight gain, but as long as the % body fat keeps going down, I'm pretty happy. My Son got me on to this and I appreciate it.
Your not supposed to have a six pack when your Sixty, but it's really coming in.
I would imagine to break the 200 mark, I'm going to need more cardio, but I'm not sure if I should go by the scale or by the % body fat at this point.
    Damn Neanderthal genetics.
