289.2 (-1.6lbs)for my Friday morning weigh in. Scale still going down every week, but this was the least amount i have lost since i started in January. I am lifting pretty heavy as well, so hopefully gaining, or at least retaining muscle and i know water weight can be higher or lower depending on what i am eating

Going to keep doing what i have been. Down 43lbs since Jan 4th when i started

Gonna join in here. Weighed 204.0 this morning which is not a healthy weight for me. Blood pressure is not in a good place. Time for some serious change and accountability. I need to be under 190.0.

I just found this thread, and would love to be involved. I am 56 yrs old, 5’7”. In Dec of last year I was at my heaviest I’ve ever been at 258lbs. I have been having severe joint pain issues, low testosterone numbers, high blood pressure, just to hit the major points. Since Dec, I have gotten my blood pressure in check, once my Dr and I were able to do that, he put me on Phentermine, an appetite suppressant, and it worked great. I normally ate fast food everyday for lunch. I haven’t eaten it since Christmas. For lunch the last 4 months, I have eaten 2 pieces of fruit and a protein bar. For dinner, we generally eat sensibly having a piece of meat or fish and a veggie. Without any exercise(because of my joint pain), I lost 30lbs, I am at 228lbs today. Since I’ve lost the weight, my joint issues are not nearly as severe, and the last month and a half, I have been walking between 2 and 4 miles everyday with the last 2 weeks adding some jogging in as well. I jogged an entire mile without stopping this week. Also, I have started working with a personal trainer and starting an HIIT program to start the rebuild process. I do still have a bad left shoulder, which probably needs surgery to fix, but I am going to try exercise for a bit first before committing to that. My goal is to lose 30 more pounds in the next 4 months. I’ll be very happy with that. Lastly, I got on their high tech body fat/composition scale today and I am at 29% body fat currently. I am very optimistic for the future. Oh one more thing, I got my Low T numbers back up through TRT over the last year and my numbers are great.

Great job! Getting the weight off can really take some of the stress of your joints, organs, etc

I luckily have good blood pressure numbers and cholesterol, triglycerides, and other blood work is really good when when I had done at 330(289 now)

I was always tired and had a sleep study done. Luckily no sleep apnea either.

My doc also ran my test in the blood work and it came back low. 294, but my free test was like half of what it should be on the low end. He doesn't really do trt and referred me to an endocrinologist but the appt isn't until mid June. I am almost 40 so I do want to get the test levels figured out as I think that is a big part of how I feel

Working out, eating better, and losing weight has helped not being as tired and I am feeling better. I am not sure if it has helped my test levels, but sure they will run some more tests in June. If it is still low I hope treating it will get me back 100%
