SOLGW Dead Air Nox 3 prong flash hider/comp question.

Does the SOLGW Nox use a start crush washer or shims for timing? Thinking about buying one to put on my BCM that currently has just the BCM Comp.

If you use it as a suppressor mount, use the shims kit, I don't believe it comes with a crush washer, but it does come with a shims kit. Ours (6315KM) has the shims kit as optional add-on, and doesn't include a crush washer either.

That sums it up quite nicely.

Crush washers are used for convenience. Personally I always think its worth it to spend the extra time and effort with a shim kit.

So....what’s the torque setting for this? Just got mine in the mail and it didn’t come with any instructions like at all. And do I need to use rocksett? Or can I just use a crush washer because it’s convenient and I don’t plan on suppressing anyways?

You'll be fine with a dose of Rocksett should you decide to use it. No torque spec. Just use shims and "time" it so that the ports are at the 3 and 12 o'clock position. You should end up with two prongs at the 2 and 10, and one prong at the 6. If using a crush washer just follow the same procedure you'd use if mounting a birdcage.
