My Wal-Mart was cleaned out at 430 this morning. They did have 27 boxes of 300BO for $5 so I bought all of it.

The Walmart I went to had them for $11 per box, I asked them to check the price and it wasn't discounted.

I just went to one around here to see how it looked - almost all of it was gone except (surprisingly) .22, but their prices for it weren’t very good. Mini mags were about $8 per 100.

I don't think 22 was ever one of the calibers they are eliminating.

After reading this thread the other day, I hit up all of the local WMs. Walked away with over 3K rounds of 5.56 for under $500. The amount of .300 BO left on the shelves had me contemplating buying it all and getting a new upper. Pricing was just that good.

    Checked out two local wallyworlds.

    Meh, Winchester & Federal .40 $15/100

Different prices, they were totally annoyed at having to find someone to unlock the counter (gave up waiting at one). Different prices at the two, appears to be manual markdown.

One had fed white box 7.62x51 at higher than online prices even marked down.

They are still going to carry .22lr so it's not on clearance

Yes, because .22lr is not one of those super deadly assault rifle boolits....

Yeah, they are keeping normal pricing for their "hunting" calibers(i.e. 222 Rem, 22LR, 30-30,etc.). I did notice they carry 6.5 Creedmoor that wasn't marked down. I wanted to tell them that scary black rifles are chambered in that too.........

Keep in mind, they person at the counter typically knows nothing/doesnt care of use, regulations, or company rules.
