We've reached a new point in America with our domestic political enemies, and it's happening a lot faster than I ever predicted.
For years conservatives claimed no US LE/MIL would enforce a ban either.

There has to be a reason... right or wrong there has to be one.
Economic collapse is a possibility. Seen that mentioned as a reason for NFA 34 here and one of the early British gun control schemes was claimed as crime control when they had no crime problem, but their powers that be had dicked up their economy.

Well I suppose if this goes how they want we will see who is really on our side and who isn’t.

And by ‘Our’, I don’t mean “gun people”(who need to be put in a gas chamber) but regular everyday Americans who want to be left the hell alone and enjoy their liberty in peace and undisturbed.

Ok, let's cut through the stupidity of the democrats.

Sheriffs' state they will stand with the Constitution and protect the citizens rights.

Dems' come back with we will prosecute you and send out the National Guard.

Now the question must be asked what is the demographics of the people serving in the VA National Guard. I am betting that not many anti gun people are serving. So the guard get's called out and they stand with the Sheriffs', now what.

The Second Amendment ACKNOWLEDGES our right to own and bear arms that are in common use that can be used for lawful purposes. The arms can be restricted ONLY if subject to historical analogue from the founding era or is dangerous (unsafe) AND unusual.

    It's that simple.

They see other states/counties/cities getting away with it so everyone tries to up one another. NY pushed the mag limit through overnight and only resistance was some complaining. That's all. They feel empowered by their base and feel they have nothing to worry about at elections.
