Has anyone gotten rejected for their prints being bad?
I mean, they’d have to be really screwed up for that. Rolling your own is pretty easy.

Negative. But then, I'm a professional.
local police departments will usually print for free (at least in pa)
We have no local PD in our township, and the state police wanted to charge us 40 dollars per person on the trust. My wife and I rolled our own for her E-File form 1 as an experiment and a number of the prints looked unacceptable in my opinion, but the form 1 was still approved in 35 days. I've seen people on other forums state that they seem to be getting a lot less picky about prints. Perhaps it's a thing for people who already have prints on file for previous approvals.
My sheriff's department charged $5 for as many as you wanted to print. Then we got a new sheriff and he wanted $15 per card. I asked for a meeting with him. They called me back and said that they'd print as many card as I had for the $15. After that, I decided to make the effort to do my own.
I took the advice of others on here and rolled my own. Ordered the cards from the ATF and got the pad from Amazon. Form 1 was approved so they couldn't have been that bad.
I am part of that power which eternally wills evil, and eternally works good.
