    The Witcher

People making a big deal of this show as some second coming of GOT. It's not, not even close. I watched first 3, and Feels and looks cheap, acting is meh, dialogue is crap and cheesy to boot. It's Hercules with a bigger budget. Not impressed at all. 3 terrible episodes is enough for me. Your mileage may vary.

I guess for some, it just satisfies the fantasy genre needs, as say Deep Space 9 satisfied a Star Trek need even though it was a terrible show. I won't be watching this show past Ep 3 myself.

Between your opinions of DS9 and Firefly (some of the best sci-fi to ever see the small screen) and your constant inability to correctly spell the names of shows in your thread titles, I don't think I can take your opinions seriously, any more.

As a fan of the games, I think it's well done but overall meh. I think it's part cultural, but the fact a witcher doesn't have much as human expression or emotion is something that doesn't translate to film. I haven't finished it yet but this series feels like a long pilot crossing two timelines, but overall Henry Cavill plays a good Geralt.

I watched the whole series I liked it but not knowing the background made it a little hard to follow. I liked the humor and fight sequences were decent

If you consider DS9 and Firefly "some of the best sci-fi to ever see the small screen" then I'd say you're right to ignore any of my views on what's worth watching and what's not. I watched all of DS9 and Firefly mostly because they filled my need for SF and both were mildly enjoyably mindless fun TV, but to consider either as great SF would also make it difficult for me to take your opinion seriously on anything related rating shows and movies. That's what makes horse racing as they say bro.

I mean it’s pretty apparent writing online movie reviews is so easy anyone can do it. Doing it well is another matter entirely, obviously.

As to The Witcher I’m through episode 6 and I’m enjoying it. I’m also in love Anya Chalotra.

Can’t improve on the accuracy of this review.
