Any performance difference between the two?

For Wilson, I've only run ETM and they were flawless.
Mas has some thoughts on the ETM vs 47D in the article I posted in your other thread: https://gunmagwarehouse.com/blog/3404-2/
Pretty good read, thank you. Looks like the EPM may be the better option.

The 8 round 47D pushes the envelope outside of spring design capability. Basically, the mag will work perfectly for a number of months, then start to have issues keeping up with the slide (you'll notice rounds impacting the feed ramp harder), followed by failures of the spring to keep up. Tripp Research fixed this issue by using longer mag bodies, and the ETM continues this advancement.
There’s a reason WILSON bought CMC Mags.
Hilton Yam recommends CMC Power Mags, Tripp’s, MecGar and a couple others for duty use.
Wilson wasn’t one of them.
I am in agreement with that.
I’ll add above was for .45 ACP.
I prefer Metalform in 9mm.

A true "Gun Guy" (or gal) should have familiarity and a modicum of proficiency with most all firearms platforms.
Clint Smith recommends Wilson 47s (the OG 7-round 47s, NOT the 8-round 47Ds).
Jason Burton (here) recommends Wilson 47s (again, 7-rounders) and ETM HD/+Ps.
LAV and Ken Hackathorn recommend Wilson ETM HD/+Ps and ETM-Vs.
Hilton Yam recommends CMC Power Mags, CMC Power Mag Pluses, Wilson ETMs, and Tripp A8-MGs.
Hilton Yam does not recommend MecGar magazines nor any magazines not listed above. (Source: 10-8 Performance | 1911 Magazines)
I would not use 47Ds. ETM-Vs would be my first choice, but I wouldn't bin Wilson 47s or CMC Power Mags.

" Nil desperandum - Never Despair. That is a motto for you and me. All are not dead; and where there is a spark of patriotic fire, we will rekindle it. "

47Ds are old-school gamer mags never meant to shoot to full power ammo.
Wilson mags (47s and ETMs) are best served with the HD+p moniker. More spring force is better.
I ordered the power mag and RPM ones this a.m. I do already have the two SA ones and two regular CMC mags.
On a side note, are the small primer cases flash hole the same size as the LPP?

There are more negative comments about 47Ds in this thread than I've read in the last 10 years.
I've got a few range ones that are 10 years old, with original springs, that have been flawless with any ammo I use.
I started carrying Tripps about a year ago, but it was not because i read 47Ds aren't reliable.
You're lucky.
47Ds have always been marginal mags and have caused more problems than I could wven begin to remember over the years.
I loathe 47Ds, have never and will never own or recommend them.
