Hodge Defense barrel, an inside look.

Forgive the quality, this is just a $50 borescope I threw in my Amazon cart the other day, but I figured some of you all might like a look-see, anyways.

Very nice! Which model did you get where the 90 degree mirror/attachment fits inside a 5.56 barrel?

    Thanks!

    A. Amazing footage, thanks for posting this since I probably wont buy a bore scope just to look in my Hodge barrel.

    B. How did you get your bore so clean?

He mentions that he's "looking forward to getting it installed" so I don't think he's fired it yet. He does mention perhaps being test-fired by Hodge (or FN) and that he cleaned it as best he could. Not sure what round count manufacturers use for test-firing a barrel but his cleaning technique is piquing my interest though!

Thanks for the video and comments. Barrel looks pretty nice. How does it shoot accuracy and recoil-wise?

    NEAT!

Can you perhaps get some other barrels borescoped for comparison. Would like to see what an "industry standard" Colt M4/6920 looks like.

I was surprised at how bad it looks especially the chamber. I do realize we are not looking at a high end target barrel and also understand you can make anything look like 90 miles of bad road with enough magnification. This is the reason I don't want a borescope.. I would rather not know. Same reason I wouldn't want to be a gynecologist!
