I'm the same way. All my Glocks are Gen 3 guns. I've fired Gen 4 and Gen 5 models, I'm not seeing anything worth ditching a Gen 3 for any of the others. I think the biggest "improvement" was selling the Gen 4 guns with 3 magazines. If I was going to buy another Glock, and could choose a Gen 3 over the others, I would. If fact that's what happened when I purchased my latest, a 17-L Long Slide. It is also a Gen 3 Model.

I like my Gen5s, but the triggers don't stay nice and slick like they are when they're new. The two I shoot the most have gotten rough and heavier than when they were new. I'm not sold on the coil trigger spring.
Agreed. And it was nice. It’s interesting nobody complained about the Gen2 Cutout.

Probably because people weren’t Instagram pussies in the ‘90s

Some of the Gen 3's had the cut outs also. I have one from 1996. GEN 3 G22 with the cut out. And a G22 gen 3 from 2015 that does not have the cut out.

If it matters, the one with the half moon cutout was a LEO purchased one.
