    Smith and Wesson 19-4 value?

I am thinking of selling my Model 19-4 in 357 mag and a few others to pay off a few med bills. Its blued and in good condition. What is the general going rate for these? It seems prices are all over the place and would like to be fair.

Your best bet is to look for what similar guns in similar condition are selling for online. Sold for, not simply the asking price. That’s the best indicator of what folks are willing to pay. I would expect a bit more since it’s an older model with pinned barrel and no lock. The figure in the stocks is nice too- are they original to the gun?

Box? Papers? Tools? If not you're looking around $550. A little less if there's bluing wear on the muzzle and cylinder

gunnerblue, the grips are original to the pistol as far as I know. I bought not long after high school.

Arik, I think I still have the manual somewhere in the house. There is no wear to the blueing.

Thanks for the help guys! I appreciate it!

I recently picked up a 4" 19 no dash for $600.00. Very clean gun no blueing wear, but no box or papers. I was happy at that price.

You’re not in central Texas by chance are you? I have an affinity for model 19’s and wouldn’t mind adding one to the collection.

What's the barrel length? 2 and 1/2 seems to fetch a fair bit more than 4" or 6"

Ah, could not see the picture before, can see it now. Thanks.

Looks super clean. OP, I would not take less than $600 for it.
