Had one, tried it, and just couldn't get comfortable with it, and finally returned it (they were great about it, BTW).

Before flattops, that’s all we had. I had a Colt 4X scope on my HBar clone for years (as you can still use your iron sights with it mounted on the carrying handle). Worked well for the time but RDS’s, et. al. have made it “retro”.
