Was out today with a friend and got him on at almost a mile. We set our target just a little short by accident at 1740. Was using a new load for the 7mm with the 180gr ELD-M and 66gr of H1000. Clocked it at 2896 which I was happy with given it was 59*F. It was pretty much a perfect day for long range with very little wind. Strelok Pro called for 16.1 but I ended up hitting at 16.5 mils. Not sure what the variable was but worked around it. Interestingly, turning Coriolis adjustment off got me a call that was closer at 16.3.

Nice. We got the 175 TMKs on steel a the mile yesterday with Pappabears FN 308 bolt gun. 34 mils if I remember right? We had to hold the last 8 with the reticle.

I joked to my buddy yesterday, next stop 308. Going to be tough with my 19” barrel tho! My calc is saying 31.3 mils but I’m skeptical.

Thanks! Almost 3 seconds seems like an eternity once you pull the trigger.

It was in the 70s yesterday, and the mirage was getting a little gooey. The electric hit indicator was what we had to rely on. .308 and 6.5 just don't give up a lot of signal, hit or miss.

We could hear the gong ring however on some of the hits.

I think we would have highly questioned the first two or three hits without the Hit Indicator. I know we are beating a dead horse but man these things are game changers for ELR shooting.

Our hits didn't carry the sound at all although the electronics were turned off on my earpro. They were easily visible though due to the fact we hit the left side of the plate which got it swinging.

It def helps to hang your targets so you get movement absent a hit indicator. It also tells you if your right left...and after the target gets 5-10 hits it’s very tuff to call your shot.

    Every advantage is good.

We took two friends out to the Hide to check the box. One buddy had a Barrett 50 and danced all around the target. But smacked it with his 300WM on 5th shot and 6th shot. He also lit it up with his 308 after many attempts. Amigo #2 hit it with his Bergara 20 inch with factory Horndog 147 ELD's after not even being able to spot misses with the cheaper American Gunner 140's.

I tried to hot it with my 20 inch Daniel defense with TAPL 168 ELDs, wind smoked me even after I got the elevation DOPE figured out. I dumped about 15 rounds, then Mark gave it a crack and made a hit on his 2nd or 3rd attempt. A quick $25 hit, not the smartest but whatever.

    Still, good times.
