I don’t have enough rounds and time through mine to speak to this. Next range day, I plan to test this and see where I end up.

The lockup on some mounts (per the internet) is not solid.
You could turn down and thread a trainer can into a silencer mount, doing so with a warden seems to be a gamble.

At least thats how I took it.

Works as is intended for a blast diffuser.

The internal bearing surface only makes one point of contact to the mount so it is unsuitable to use as an adapter mount though.

Honestly with a little bit of work I think you could open up the trainer can, stack baffles, and either thread or weld on an end cap and be fine.

That was smart on SF’s part. Keeps their mounts from being WECSOG’d onto other cans.

I always went for QD systems but now own 2 and will own 3 direct thread and see the beauty in that simplistic approach.

Yes but the trainer can is only like 100 bucks more and I’m near certain it could get whittled into a functioning suppressor without a ton of work so idk.

I think if they released an actual modular suppressor adapter they’d generate more sales of already pricey muzzle devices but would that lead to lost revenue from their suppressor sales? Folks are sick of waiting a year for their cans so again who knows.

I’d love to see KAC release an QDC adapter but given their price structure the same above issues apply, even more so probably.

Are you running them on dedicated hosts? Or moving them around often? What preventive measures are you doing to keep them for loosening?

Also this is probably the nicest DT Mount I’ve come across
