Hmm, these look interesting.
Maybe I'm missing something super obvious, but what's changed on the TLR-1 HL? The stats look the same as the current version.

Ah, they've already updated their product line then, with no differences between the "new" and the regular listing. It was showing 1000. I had to look elsewhere for the 800-lumen listings, but they show a slightly better run time. Interesting.

It resembles Olight's PL-Pro Valkyrie which has been out for awhile now. Ambi paddle switches. A high mode and low mode. A lock out mode. QD install. Almost exactly the same performance specs. It has a better IPX rating: 7 instead of 6 but is bigger and heavier. It also is CR123A's instead of magnetic USB rechargeable.
The RM1 seems interesting.

Have run the TLR-1 and HL for years... unless you hit it hard they are very very good for the $
Have never had a problem with the circuitry. Have broken the rear switch though mounted on an AR.
Prefer the push in design of the SF 300 ultra, but the rocker switch on the HL works fine for me. Price is roughy 1:2
