This concept always reminds me of Colt 6940's which have a heavyish rail. But it does not go out super far like 15 inch rails so it feels more handy to me, than some other lighter 16 inch guns. YMMV. I do dig me a monolithic gun. I sold mine but time will tell if I don't get one in the stable one of these days.
