Looks like they are coming out with a new 1-8x scope. 30mm tube, 19.5oz weight, 11.8" length, *2nd* ? focal plane, two reticle styles and *extra* bright illumination. More info on the scope at the link. For comparision, the new Vortex Gen 3 Razor HD 1-10x scope is 1.7" inch shorter but 2 ounces heavier and it will probably be less money.
