    First 11.5 “build”

Only AR I had was a build on a 14.5 I did when the Obama scare happened and since then I have gotten wiser and researched more. Anyway here is the new build.
    Upper:
    Rosco 11.5 barrel
    SLR sentry 7
    Dead air brake
Lantac EBCG (until my LMT comes in)
    ADM upper
    SLR 10.7 ion light rail
    Geissele BUIS
    Geissele 1/3 T1 mount
    Holosun
    SiCo Omega

    Lower:
    ADM lower
    Geissele SD-E
    BCM grip
    Vltor A5 W A5H2
    Sprinco Green
    SBA3 (until stamp comes in)
    Geissele safety and small parts

Still waiting on a MLOK light bar from T-Rex arms and a light of some sort.

Haven’t got to pull the trigger yet but might go tomoorw. Suppressor wrap will come off just had it on from the bolt gun.

Got some nice parts, should be a shooter. Have you dumped ammo yet? Range report ?

Throw up a range report if you get s chance

Sage Dynamics did a review of the Roscoe barrel and it was very positive. They seem to be accurate and priced right.

I was going to go with the Sionics reduced gas port but the rosco was half the price. Since it will mostly be ran in short range classes I didn’t mind a cheaper barrel. We’ll see how it goes.

Ammo will be 25 grains of H335 loaded with a bulk 55 on my 650. Mixed brass.

Thought VFG on a "pistol" was no go.

You're correct. The emphasis is on the "V" in VFG here though. As the BCM grip isn't exactly vertical, it's not actually a VFG, but an angled fore grip.

Good luck with that- "3 degrees off VFG".

You can put a vertical foregrip on a pistol that has an OAL of 26 inches or more. If I recall, an AR with an 11.5 inch barrel and carbine RE comes in right at 26 inches. The A5 wil put an 11.5 inch AR over 26 inches, easy.
