Fu&$. my ad for Kindle to sell my latest novella- Old And Angry - was rejected because the cover is too scary for people. Ugh, this modern world of ❄️❄️❄️ is killing us and creating soft worthless adults... Rant Off. PS. Reviews are coming in and very positive so far.

Yes, I have finished and it was a good read. You definitely nailed the "leave them wanting more" angle.

The character development was really good and you made them relatable. I am waiting for the next installment.

Thanx bro! Please leave a review as the ranking and sales live or die on those reviews. Hopefully you have read the Vacation Gone South series of which this was a spin off character. I wanted to make sure it was a stand alone read, but also wanted those who had read the VGS series to get something extra from it knowing Wink and co.

"If you took Clint Eastwood's cranky character from Gran Torino, made him a Vietnam Vet with lethal skills, and then gave him a murder-mystery to solve and some bad guy butts to kick, you'd end up with "Old and Angry." Author Will Brink's first-person narrative expertly captures the gruff, no-nonsense, "get off my lawn or I'll kick your tailbone out the top of your skull" voice of door-kicking, meat-eating, whisky-drinking Paul, the "old" protagonist of the story.

The 'angry' part of the tale comes around when Paul and his ex-SEAL pal Jake find out what kind of dirty business some Russian gangsters are really up to and decide that the only way to handle the situation is the old-school warrior way, with generous helpings of C4, frag grenades, and hot lead.
