Perhaps the very presence is a pretty good reminder to folks to behave in a way consistent with not catching or spreading a virus.

I've noticed that stores that have placed the foot markers on the ground for people to use to gauge their distance from one another have fewer people crowding. Reminders/perceived enforcement does wonders.

Getting into a physical altercation doesn't tend to succeed if not being physically close is the goal.

Here's the mentality we are dealing with. Buddy of mine wrote these comments. He does a lot of biz in China, married to a Chinese women, etc, been "talked to" by Chinese authorities and subtly told doing biz in China might become very difficult for him should he continue to say/post such things on social media:

Friends Father died from it and we have a friend (nurse in her early 30s) in the ICU on a ventilator from it. Once of the agents at my office is married to a guy who has it and is in isolation but looks to be through the worst of it and wasn't as bad off as others.

Yes, I know two: a 68yo retired cop from CT who is a distant in-law, and a 44yo from metro Detroit. I also know another person who had it in FL, was very sick but never had to be hospitalized and has now recovered. It's real.
