Not going to lie i did not expect this in my life time (im 36) but I still prepared for it. Ive been following this since the week the first cases were finally being reported out of China and started getting my game plan together. Funny thing is my coworkers and friends thought i was nuts when i started warning about it. Even got yelled at work about it because I freaked a few people out just by talking the virus. But according to a FDNY buddy of mine they are preparing for a SHTF situation. People are starting to really freak out. Now no matter how you look at the Virus either it be a very bad situation or slightly worse than the common flu (im leaning towards a bad situation but thats just me) people can be far more dangerous than the actual situation. This will be be more apparent once more people start to see that their nice comfortable lives may get shaken up either it be true or not true.

I thought they said Tom was 63, so it will be interesting to see how they do.

The conclusions the author of the blog makes on the link are not in context. Please, again, answer my question.

Same experience. Maybe not the first week but when it started to be reported outside of China in larger numbers I figured I'd rather be on the safe side and grab extra stuff. A little at a time. Told a few people and got weird looks. I figured that if the power stays on I'm good for a long time. If not I would buy canned food I eat anyway, that way if this fizzled out I'd still have bought that anyway regardless.

But he's thin, healthy, and rich, so best care $ can buy. I suspect he and his wife will be just fine. The media frenzy over this one will be interesting to be sure.

Disease expert Osterholm on Seth Rogan. Sorry don’t know how to embed on mobile.

Probably the best down to earth most candid explanation I have found to date of the situation. Sorry if this was already posted this ones been hit the last few days.

How much of a blood bath do you think the markets are going to turn into tomorrow? I don’t think the speech calmed anyone down, probably the opposite. The NBA postponing the season and NCAA banning fans from March madness I don’t see people taking those well.

Then how are cases in Qatar rising? That seems to have put the brakes on the theory that this thing likes colder northern hemisphere climates.
