However, when you rent a U-Haul and travel through two States buying up everything as well as clearing out supplies on Amazon with the specific intent of drying up supplies, that does get me riled. Good for Amazon and Ebay in taking the steps to shut people like that down.
I could be wrong, but I think Amazon would still allow him to list what he has at regular retail prices. But since he probably paid retail for all of it, plus whatever he has in the U-haul, storage, Amazon fees, shipping, etc. he'd be selling at a loss. Boo-hoo...

The fact that he's complaining about essentially making a losing bet, after admitting to already making a heft profit by gouging people, is pathetic in the extreme.

Because a 1:10 diluted bleach solution kills virus.

That's great, but people don't need to run out and panic grab evey last bottle off the shelves each day right when the store opens. I don't have any bleach or hand sanitizer or masks, nor do I feel the need to buy any of those things. I would however like to be able to buy toilet paper. But people are panic buying all of that off the shelves too.

    Bleach kills!

Local Walmart was ...well.... weird. I was more curious than anything. Most meat is gone but plenty of brisket for St. Patrick's day. Canned soup was gone but canned meat was still in half decent supply. Most canned fish was still there. Water was available, plenty of juice and soda.

All the veggies and most fruit was still there!

    No soap

    No sanitizer

    Didn't bother with checking TP

Just wait, I predict stocks will get back to normal, this has been people chasing one item then the next, first was masks and hand sanitizer, then alcohol then toilet paper now they are on to food. Pretty soon things should start calming down and shelves will stop being empty, I mean it's not like they aren't still making TP and hand sanitizer.

Just got informed that our school (k-8) will be closed Monday and Tuesday, they will be teaching remote till further notice.

On Friday at work we were told no visits to the office from non employees (customers, vendors, family) unless necessary.

Guessing working from home isn't too far behind.

I feel really bad for people who can’t work from home and have kids, that’s going to be incredibly painful for them and the repercussions will be felt throughout the economy. So many people live paycheck to paycheck and those are the ones who don’t have jobs where they can work from home or they work in the service industry which is going to be crushed by this. Next, people aren’t going to be able to pay their rent/mortgage so who’s going to get the bailout? People are going to riot if it’s just the banks again. You’ll see a surge in Bernies popularity even though he basically won’t have a shot at the presidency. How Trump responds will make or break his re-election bid, nothing else matters anymore.
    Fear not:

Section 5102. The Emergency Paid Sick Leave Act.

This section requires employers with fewer than 500 employees and government employers to provide employees two weeks of paid sick leave, paid at the employee's regular rate, to quarantine or seek a diagnosis or preventive care for coronavirus; or paid at two-thirds the employee's regular rate to care for a family member for such purposes or to care for a child whose school has closed, or child care provider is
    unavailable, due to the coronavirus.

Full-time employees are entitled to 2 weeks (80 hours) and part-time employees are
entitled to the typical number of hours that they work in a typical two-week period.
The bill ensures employees who work under a multiemployer collective agreement and
whose employers pay into a multiemployer plan are provided with leave.

The Act, and the requirements under the Act, expire on December 31, 2020.

In my case, I can afford it. Whether its a pandemic, or just meth-head freaks from the city trying to steal stuff that's not tied down, ammo is always a good investment. Years ago I had to fire my rifle at thieves loading up a diesel generator I use to pump water out of the Canadian River. They came at me at high speed while I was on horseback. They took off when the lead came their way, and generator was dumped out the back of the pickup. Damaged but fixable.
