The groups you are referencing choose to lie about the 2nd Amendment which is well documented. They also frequently choose to lie about other subjects that are well documented.

Prepared is erring on the side of caution based on known facts.

You know back during the O'bummer years I used to stop at every Walmart I drove by to see what ammo they had and buy my 3 boxes if they had any I wanted. Fast forward to today looks like I will be stopping at every Walmart I pass looking for toilet paper, that gentlemen is a sad state of affairs.

From the CDC who tells you to avoid crowds...

Katherine Rogers landed at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport Saturday. After waiting in line for about five hours to be screened by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, she was told she had an hour more to go.

"No one seems prepared," she said. "To take us off planes from all over the world and put us together for hours seems counterproductive."

Travelers wait to go through customs at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport on Saturday.

This in multiple airports. Worse, it appears they are not even doing cursory screening, not even temperature. Again, at across multiple of the approved entry points.

Which tells me they are not concerned with stopping entry of a relatively small number of infected US citizens. Implication being its already in enough US communities not to make a statistical difference.

That or we (US) are completely inept. I keep hearing people allude or state Italian ineptness...

Its already in Atlanta preschools and worse, a waffle house. It's here.

I hope its no worse than the flu or a cold as some state.

This is the point that my buddy in Italy has been making. Well not many of the deaths are under 50 the issue is that in those under that age they don’t die often need a large amount of intensive care. Italy has a 50% hospitalization rate and then a fairly high ICU rate. That is what the problem is.

One of the guys that works for me just texted that he will need sick days for the upcoming week due to a nasty case on pneumonia. I asked him if the he was even tested for COVID-19, and he was not.

For the folks in the medical field in this thread, is that responsible on the part of the Dr. office or not? I guess I would have expected them to test with it in our area.
