The woman who tested positive twice, a resident of Osaka, in western Japan, tested positive on Wednesday after developing a sore throat and chest pains, the prefectural government said in a statement. The woman in her 40s first tested positive in late January and was discharged from hospital on Feb. 1 after recovering, according to the statement.

Look to South Korea for honest data, what happens there and Italy will indicate how bad this can get. Fun fact, SK has tested over 35,000 people, U.S. CDC less than 500.

Things are going to get really spicy during Ramadan, they've got folks coming from everywhere in the world for their Haj, just when this rears it's ugly head.
It's going to be a heck of a spring, keep some food on hand, be ready to take a "Staycation".

a BRIEF BBC update, Lady in Japan i reinfected, that's something to keep an eye on.

Had she fully recovered and diagnosed as such, or did she simply start feeling better then went and ran her self down?

Any of us ever done that with a cold, I have. Wow, feeling better, I'm going to the gym. The next day I feel worse than I did at the height of the cold because I took energy way from my immune system by blowing it at the gym.

One thing that I am seeing. Regardless of how civilized country's are, the more people are crammed into public transportation like sardines, it looks like the harder the local government is having keeping this under control. Ever been on a train in Korea/Japan/China? I have. It's jammed. I can't avoid airports, but you darn sure won't see me on a city bus or subway any time soon.

Did that a few years ago. Had a cold, got over it, felt great! Happened to be a weekend so I went to the bar. A few hours later I felt my face bright red and weird feeling. Went home took my temp and it showed 104°. Somehow got the flu!

Luckily we don't get public transportation out here. Kinda weird since it's fairly heavily populated. It's just that everyone drives

    Time to buy

Starbucks are reopening in China now because it has supposedly peaked over there. I trust that metric more than anything China tells us.

The South Korean Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has confirmed that a Korean Air flight attendant sickened by the novel coronavirus was aboard a flight from Seoul, South Korea, to Tel Aviv, Israel, that was previously linked to dozens of cases of COVID-19. The flight was operated February 15 with about 200 passengers aboard, the Times of Israel reported.

Though Korean Air has not released the flight attendant's full routing since contracting the virus, it's believed that the employee worked additional flights to and from Seoul in the days following the flight to Israel, according to South Korean news outlets, including flights between South Korea and the US
