Anyone have any info on Retrorifles.com?

Just picked up a CAR-15 stock from these guys, and perusing the site, I found a "MK12 stainless steel barrel"....for a really good price.

    Link here: https://retrorifles.com/mk12-18-inch...-steel-barrel/

I know I am better off with the White Oak barrel I've been waiting to be restocked, but this is tempting....anyone run one of these or have any insight?

They've been non-responsive to every attempt to communicate I've made, ditto the experience of a boardmate over at NWFA.

Well hopefully I don't get burned. My order status is still "awaiting fulfillment" after 4 days. They sure charged my card right quick....

Per the guy over there, they made good, but your first "reply" will probably be the part showing up out of nowhere on your doorstep.

I’ve read some of the negatives on AR15.com after I ordered parts. Although they didn’t reply to mails, phoning them works much better in case of issues or questions. The gentleman was very friendly and helpful. My local post office (Switzerland) screwed up big time so the package had to be sent again. They treated me very well, parts are nice and they even threw in a free grip. I’ll buy again from them if I need parts.

I'm fairly confident they will deliver on my order.

    Still curious about that barrel....
