FGMM 338 lapootchie , HOT HOT HOT

We shot a friends Savage in 338 lapua and fired FGMM. It was popping primers, swiping the brass and had to fight the bolt every shot.

Anybody else familiar with this with their FGMM Lapua.

The chamber I had on a test and eval 110 BA had a chamber so tight it wouldn't take reloads previously fired in three different other 338s, same tight extract and pressure signs.

Got same problem with 308 savage. Reloads are very hard to feed, fgmm just hard.

    Another vote for chamber.

Sounds like you dudes got caught slumming with Savage.

There’s been several threads across gun forums where the savage has a tight or even an out of spec chamber on the 338’s. I did the research while shopping for a 338 about 4 years ago and decided against savage arms.
